To put it in one line: Deepam Trust is a gathering of good hearts fulfilling Vallalar's command.
Justice Dr. T. N. Vallinayagam
Former Judge, High Courts of Karnataka & Madras
Judge, Lok Adalat, High Court of Madras

The services of Deepam Trust's founder and volunteers, who work tirelessly to create a prosperous world free of starvation, disease and crime, are truly praiseworthy.
People like Deepam Balakrishnan and Sri Jothi Sathuragiriyar have given themselves wholly to this work, living like candles that show “light” to others.
As if to lend strength to Vallalar's heartfelt phrase ‘Chennai, rich in dharma’, I have heard from many well-wishers about Deepam Trust in Velachery, Chennai.
As long as Vallalar's name endures, the name of Deepam Trust will endure too.
I lay this as an offering at the flower-feet of Thiru Balakrishnan, founder and president of Deepam Trust, who lives dedicated to this noble work, and of his volunteers.
As the saying goes, those who give food give life. The gift of life-saving food is the highest gift, and Deepam Trust, which lives by this principle, does charitable work worthy of praise.
May this lamp forever light lamps of smiles in many lives and pave the way for this society to shine.
In this world people are born and people pass away. But it is rare for someone like the principled Balakrishnan to appear.
