A free Siddha medical camp is held every month on behalf of Deepam Trust, Velachery, Chennai.
Ailments such as the following are effectively treated through traditional nerve therapy (narambu pidippu):
- Leg pain
- Hip and lower back pain
- Abdominal pain due to intestinal displacement (kudal etram)
- Shoulder pain
- Stiff and painful neck
- Chronic headache
- Diabetes
From Erode district, Sivam V.P. Matheswaran, hereditary physician of Yoga Bala Thandapani Siddha Vaidhya Salai, will supervise the camp, and everyone from children to the elderly will receive excellent Siddha treatment.
