Having seen and felt first-hand how the attendants of patients at the Adyar Cancer Hospital, Chennai (from Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and other states) struggle for food, we decided to provide food every day without a break. The food is prepared at the Velachery Dharmachalai in Chennai, carried in a Tata Ace vehicle and served directly at the hospital with prayer, every day, on time.
Further, seeing our heartfelt service with genuine social concern, and at the request of the Adyar Cancer Hospital administration, breakfast is served every day as pepper gruel (milagu kanji). The administration, having tested the quality of our food, has given it a very high certificate of quality.
Every day at about 8 am and at about 12 noon, without missing a single day, we go in person in the Tata Ace vehicle to the Adyar Cancer Hospital and serve both meals with prayer.
